Friendly Union Bay seniors raising funds for Tour de Rock

The Friendly Port Seniors of Union Bay are raising funds Saturday? for the Tour de Rock.

This is the third year the seniors have sponsored a giant garage sale and book sale. Even a car wash is planned.

It happens Sept. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Union Bay Community Hall on Highway 19A.

All the proceeds will be presented to the Tour de Rock cyclists as they stop at the Union Bay Community Hall on Sept. 27 on their ride down Vancouver Island.
